Lanark County Beekeepers’ Association

Eastern Ontario Beekeepers’ Association 

  • learn about bees and beekeeping in Ontario
  • talk to fellow beekeepers, new and experienced
  • get hands-on experience

                                    126 Spruce Drive, Carleton Place

                                    (north of Hwy. 7, off Ramsay Conc. 5A) 

     Guest Speakers:  Paul Kozak, Provincial Apiarist

                                      Julie White, Organic Beekeeping 

      Workshops: (bring veil and/or beesuit)

  • fall treatments for Varroa mites
  • overwintering preparation and methods      
  • setting up an electric fence
  • oxalic acid treatment

                                                                                   

      Queen Auction:  proceeds to Tech Transfer, LCBA & EOBA
